Deep Clean vs. Standard Clean: What's the Difference?
Many clients ask whether they need a "standard" clean or a "deep" clean. Understanding the difference can help you choose the right service to match your home's needs and your expectations.
Standard (Recurring) Cleaning: The Maintenance
Think of a standard clean as the essential upkeep for your home. It's designed to be done on a regular basis (weekly, bi-weekly) to maintain a consistent level of cleanliness.
- Focus: It covers the basics like dusting surfaces, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning kitchen countertops, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Goal: To prevent the buildup of dirt and grime and keep your home fresh and tidy.
Deep Cleaning: The Reset Button
A deep clean is a much more intensive and detailed service. It's designed to tackle the built-up grime and dirt in areas that aren't typically covered in a standard clean. It's perfect for a first-time service, a spring cleaning, or preparing for a special event.
- Focus: It includes everything in a standard clean, PLUS hand-washing baseboards, cleaning inside the oven and fridge, scrubbing grout, and cleaning behind furniture.
- Goal: To restore the home to a like-new condition and get into every nook and cranny.
We recommend starting with a deep clean for all new clients. This lets us bring your home up to a high standard, which is then easy to maintain with our recurring standard cleaning service. Not sure which one you need? Request a free quote and we'll help you decide.
